Rick Tarango was born in Midland, TX where he played varsity basketball and football in high school. He moved to Lubbock, TX to attend Texas Tech University where he earned his degree in Exercise Sports Science. During his four years at Texas Tech he was a student assistant and strength and conditioning coach. He has been a certified personal trainer for over fifteen years. Rick began boxing at a young age but pursued kickboxing after college when he moved to Houston. Rick trained with an international kickboxing champion where he acquired the expertise to teach kickboxing and self-defense. He has worked with varied levels of clientele and led them on a consistent path of motivation, losing weight, and getting in shape. His wide range of experience will bring clients creative, individualized, constructive programs, and challenging workouts that allow them to reach their goals and see results.
